Talasemtane National Park is one of Morocco’s most beautiful natural reserves, located in the Rif Mountains near Chefchaouen. 🌿

📍 Location

• Situated in the western Rif region, south of Chefchaouen.

• Covers an area of about 58,950 hectares.

🌲 Nature & Landscape

• Known for its dense cedar and fir forests, especially the endangered Moroccan fir (Abies marocana) which grows only in this area.

• Features deep gorges, high cliffs, waterfalls, and rivers like the Farda and the Oued Laou.

• Elevations range from 350m to 2,105m (at Jbel Lakraa, the highest peak).
